I learnt the various ways in which we can make 2D drawings come alive and give them depth and dimension using wire and clay and make it a 3D model. First we learnt how to make a R major. It was quite challenging but we slowly gradually learnt to get a hang of it. Then we warped wire around the entire thing so that later when we put clay on the wire which was like a skeleton it griped on and stayed like that. In this image I had started to apply clay on the R major. Clay on the wire figure is like mass on the skeleton and gives the figure details and clues to what it might be.
